PINION SLEWING DRIVES

slewing-drive

Slewing drives with pinions or rotary units FA.RE.MEC. with cylindrical gear transmission (pinions) are a compact mechanical component built inside a casting and made up of a BASE BEARING whose rotation takes place via the ring gear of the bearing and one or more straight-toothed gears (Pinion).

These slewing units support radial/axial loads and overturning moments, all completely sealed by rubber seals.
All types are designed to work both horizontally and vertically, they are self-locking and therefore do not require the use of bulky external braking systems.

FA.RE.MEC Slewing drives with pinions are designed to easily mount an electric or hydraulic motor, sometimes combined with a reducer and can be with one or more pinions,
