The FA.RE.MEC. slewing drive with worm screw drive they are a compact mechanical organ built inside a casting and made up of a BASE BEARING driven by a worm screw.
The worm allows the BASE BEARING to give a very precise and smooth rotation, while the bearing supports radial/axial loads and overturning moments, all completely sealed by rubber gaskets. All types are designed to work both horizontally and vertically, they are self-locking and therefore do not require the use of bulky external braking systems.
